Calling all 5th - 12th-grade boys and dads!
Join the brotherhood of Fraternus!Fraternus is a wonderful and powerful ministry focused on developing young male youth into virtuous Catholic men. Our male youth have a desire for a challenging brotherhood. Some find it in sports or social groups but rarely in the church. Fraternus is changing this by fostering a brotherhood rooted in virtue and in the richness of the Catholic Faith.The framework of Fraternus is built around 7 key virtues - 3 Theological virtues - Faith, Hope, and Charity, and 4 Cardinal virtues - Prudence, Temperance, Fortitude, and Justice. We believe that our youth are destined for greatness, and it is our goal to instill virtue and brotherhood into their lives and to develop them into men of Charity, Integrity, and Discipleship. We do this in a variety of ways:- We have weekly meetings (Frat Nights) on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
- Throughout the year, we will offer 4 weekend "excursions" (Extended Frat Nights), which are a lot of fun and very effective in helping to form these young men.
- There is a 4-day summer event called Ranch.
St. Edward is the home of the Nashville Chapter of Fraternus. All boys in 5th grade through 12th grade who are interested in greatness and ready for a challenge are welcome. Our Fraternus year begins with our first Frat Night on Wednesday 8/21.
